19/09/09 - vs Wandsworth Corinthians - Westend took the lead with a penalty from Alan Wyatt but with virtually the last kick of the game Wandsworth snatched victory away from Westend to earn a 1 - 1 draw.
26/09/09 - In their first home game of the season Westend came unstuck against a very strong AC Malden side who despite having a man sent off in the first half ran out comfortable winners by 4 goals to nil.
03/10/09 - Despite playing against Premier side Summerstown in this Teck Cup 1st round game Westend proved themselves to be the much better side and won convincingly by 2 goals to 0. The goals came from Luxford in the first half and then new signing Underhill wrapped up the game in the second half when he cooly lobbed the opposing keeper.
10/10/09 - In a keenly fought contest Westend found themselves 2 - 0 down at half time in this Division 1 clash verses Kingston Albion. The home side came out with all guns blazing in the second half and put the Albion goal under extreme pressure, unfortunately they left it late to find the net and scored in the 85th minute with a goal from Underhill to make the final scoreline 2 -1 to the Albion.
17/10/09 - A great result was acheived on Saturday when Westend beat high flying neighbours and top of the league AFC Watermans by 2 goals to 1. It was quite a see saw game with end to end skirmishes and goalmouth thrills to suit the watching supporters who watched a fantastic game of football that was a credit to both sides. Westend took an own goal advantage into the 2nd half but then allowed Watermans to get back into the game midway through the second half. The result could have gone either way with both sides striving for the winner, but it was Westend who wrapped up the points with a well taken goal from Luxford in the 80th minute.
24/10/09 - Westend came unstuck against Esher United on Saturday when they lost by 2 - 0. The home side just couldn't get going this week and this was deemed as a disapointing result by player managaer Alan Wyatt after the excellent result from the previous weeks game.
31/10/09 - Westend were on their travels this Saturday with an away trip to Croydon to play Old Whitgiftians in the 1st round of the County Cup. In a very up tempo game the away side soon started to notch up the goals and eventually came away with an outstanding win by 8 goals to 3. The goalscorers on the day were Luxford with a well taken 3 goal hatrick, Underhill 2 , Cavozzi 2, Morgan 1.
07/11/09 - Westend continued on their winning ways with a very convincing 2 - 0 win against Wandsworth Corinthians in this Division 1 league game. A goal scored in each half by Luxford and Underhill secured all 3 points for the home side.
14/11/09 - Home game vs Merton Rovers - Against the run of play and down to 10 men in the second half Merton clung on to their slender 1 goal lead until the 70th minute when Westend's Scott Donachy struck to level the score, unfortunately the home side couldn't make the extra man advantage count and the score remained at 1-1 at full time.
28/11/09 - Westend found themselves 3-0 down at one point in this County Cup match against Premier side SHFC but managed to pull the score back to a respectable 3-2 in the second half.
05/12/09 - Home vs Repton - Goals from John Lee and Richard Hawthorn ensured that Westend secured all 3 points in this Division 1 league game.
12/12/09 - Away vs Esher United - League - Won 4-0 Fouracre 2, Fenton, Morgan
19/12/09 - Home vs AFC Watermans - League - Game cancelled due to frozen pitch at Westend Common.
16/01/10 - Away vs Thornton Heath - League - Game cancelled due to snow on pitch.
23/01/10 - Home vs Thornton Heath - League - Game cancelled due to flooded pitch.
30/01/10 - Home vs AFC Watermans - League - Despite going in 3 - 0 down at half time Westend batled back in the second half and although they only managed to pull back a solitary goal scored by Underhill it wasn't enough to beat the league leaders.
06/02/10 - Away vs Repton - Westend took an early 2-0 lead against Repton but allowed the advantage to slip and allowed the home side to go into a 3-2 lead late into the second half. Fortunately, Westend rallied themselves and scored a deserved equaliser close to the end of the game and the final result was 3-3. Westends goals came from Underhill, Hawthorn and Morgan Kent.
13/02/10 - Home vs Claygate & Ditton - League Cup 2nd Round - Despite putting up a spirited performance against the Premier League Leaders and also playing against 10 men for most of the game the home side failed to press home the advantage and ended up losing this cup encounter by 3 goals to 0.
20/02/10 - Despite leading 1-0 at half time Westend allowed Kingston Albion to get back into the game and although the scores were level at 2-2 with just minutes to go Albion scored the winner just before the final whistle to take all 3 points. The Westend goals came from Luxford and Underhill.
27/02/10 - Away vs Merton Rovers - League Game cancelled due to flooded pitch.
06/03/10 - In a tightly fought contest, Westend finally came out on top when they were awarded 2 deserved penalties in the last 15 minutes of the game against Thornton Heath which secured the win and all 3 points. Westend had been trailing at this time by 3 - 2 and it looked as if the game would go to a win for the away team but the referee awarded the penalties and these were both confidently dispatched into the oppositions goal. Westends goals came from Underhill, Cavozzi and the penalty takers were Luxford and Fenton.
